Well Queen has come and gone from ONW. We hope you enjoyed our tribute to this outstanding band. We have now moved on to our concert / jazz season. With doing that, we have one of our biggest events of the season coming up. Do you like Bar-B-Q? Do you like live music? How about buying things at an auction? If so, then you don’t want to miss our 7th Annual Blues and Bar-B-Q on Saturday, February 6, 2009.
The evening includes a catered Bar-B-Q dinner from Smokin’ Joes, followed by a live auction. The remainder of the evening features great music from the ONW and Prairie Trail jazz ensembles. There is also a silent auction going on during the evening.

If you can’t catch us then, you can hear us at the following venues
Basketball pep band at the games on 2/5, 2/16, or 2/19
Our state honor band members will be playing in Wichita 2/25 – 2/26.
Our jazz members will be at the Pittsburg State Jazz Festival on March 5th.
We will also have our ONW Area Band Festival on March 11th. This concert includes the combined fifth and sixth grade bands, combined Prairie Trail seventh and grade bands, Prairie Trail Symphonic Winds, ONW Symphonic Band and Raven Winds.
